Seperating design from content not only enhances teamwork, but also makes it possible to maintain global design standards (page layout, menus, site search, colors, fonts, background images, etc.) across all pages. These standards are applied automatically each time you create a new page, and dynamically reapplied each time you edit a page, so there's no list of design standards to remember each time you set up a page. Your design remains congruous from one page to the next, you need not commit to design standards before propagating pages, and Triskelon can change your design standards according to your specifications at any time globally, quickly, & inexpensively.

Most Web Builder features are self-explanatory. A few features that may not be include the Admin button, the Site Search feature, and schemes. The Admin button appears in the publicly-viewable main menu of your web site, but is really intended for you, the site owner. The Admin button is your "front door" to web builder. The public can click on the Admin button, but won't get past the login dialog as long as you choose a password that's hard to guess.

The Site Search engine enables web visitors to quickly find pages in your site using keywords. The site search engine is automatically maintained by Web Builder's content management module, and is always available; no action is required on your part (except to select a scheme which includes Site Search).

A scheme is a set of design standards to apply to a given page. You can choose to have just one scheme for all pages, or different schemes from one page to the next. Triskelon develops the schemes according to your specifications, and you select one for each page you create, in the upper-left corner of the page editing window.

It is not necessary to download anything. We install Web Builder for you on your web server. Afterward, it is completely accessible via web interface. No third-party software is required. Generally, third-party software is incompatible with Web Builder (see exception). To simplify your experience (as well as avoid damaging your web site), after Web Builder is installed, please do not access your web site via any software other than the approved titles. Once Web Builder is installed on your web server, contact Triskelon for changes to your global design standards (page layout, menus, site search, colors, fonts, background images, etc.), to add a new scheme (page layout), to develop logos or other custom graphic images, to add functionality such as forms and databases, or for questions about how to use Web Builder (including HTML coaching).
